Patricia Louise Case, 64, of Hermitage, Missouri was born October 18, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of John and Alberta (Davis) Steele. She departed this life on Sunday October 11, at 6:28 p.m. at her home in Hermitage, Missouri surrounded by her family.

Patty grew up in Des Moines where she graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1968. After school she worked at Yonkers Department Store.

On July 3, 1971 she was united in marriage to Tim Case in Des Moines, Iowa. During her life Patty was a devoted mother, wife and follower of Christ. She was a creative artist, who enjoyed drawing, sculpting, writing children's books, and playing music. She shared her creative talents by working as a clown. In 1988 she was voted National Clown of the Year for her work as Patty Cake. And got to perform with the Barnum and Bailey Clowns at the circus.

Patty's goal in life was to shine God's love to those around her. she had a heart for the poor and hurting in this world. She was a cofounder of Heart to Heart ministry in Buffalo to help those in need. Her passion in life was telling others about God's love, especially children. She touched children's lives through the puppet ministry, youth ministry, and children's programs at her churches.

Patty followed God's calling to minister to people by becoming a pastor in the Disciples of Christ Church. She pastored the Hermitage Christian Church for seven years.

Patty also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was full of fun and life spending time at the lake, baking cookies, and doing art projects with her children.

Patty is preceded in death by her mother and father and one sister Janice Kuble.

Patty is survived by her husband Tim of Hermitage, Missouri: one son Matthew (and Laura) Case of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; her brother Mike (and Barbara) Steele of West Virginia; three grandsons Carson, Ayden, and Sutton Case; and other relatives.

Funeral Services were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 15, 2015 in the Buffalo First Christian Church with the Rev Jennifer Long Officiating. Pallbearers were Keith Johnson, Mark Houser, Forrest Maynard, Devona Allen, Joe Shewmaker, and Tim Long. Burial followed in the Maple Lawn Cemetery. Music were recorded selections "Long Way Home", "Meant To Be", and "Jesus King Of Angels".
